I’ve a bit of a changing-seasons cold today, but I wished to make a blog post to mark the first official public material of the band I’ve formed with fellow Brighton resident, Martha Casey.

She has described posting a 30 second clip of a demo to instagram as a “soft launch”, which is apparently the style of the time. It’s the first thing we’ve posted publicly that has both of us singing on it. This, I am led to believe, means we’re a real band now, and not just a concept.

We’re The Highchurches and we hope to do our first live gig some time in early 2024.
