All the shows I saw at Brighton Fringe 2024

Audience participation with Dawn Williams

Over on my newsletter I’ve posted links to all the Fringe, Spiegeltent, and Festival shows I went to this year. I’ve probably forgotten a couple, but this is how posterity shall remember it.

I had a lovely time, and enjoyed excellent company throughout.

Next year, I think I’ll take a few more risks and see a few more random theatre shows. And I’ll definitely not bother with any of the mixed bill nights run by the usual Brighton stand-up promoters, which looked pretty grim in the main.

I might put on a show myself next year, if I’m still here. I’m trying to figure out the format, but a This Machine Kills Wasps special might be fun if I can figure out the right venue for it.

I shan’t be doing Edinburgh this year, as it’s far too expensive and feels like it’s dying somewhat as a cultural event. I mourn The Vault, and will keep an eye out for Camden Fringe shows later in the summer.
